These exploratory sketches were made for a 3D modelling exercise I was attempting a few weeks ago. After much consideration, the idea of the minotaur was shelved in favour of a satyr, which gave me the opportunity to model a human head and torso.
Some may rule this out as a commercial product, its characters mere mascots that sing and dance. But was the Phantom of the Opera not written with integrity and heart when it was first conceived, before it gained commercial success that begged mass production?
